How do you start your day? Is it with a complaint? A yawn? A stretch? A grouchy statement?
How we start our day does set the tone for how the rest of our day will go. If you choose to start it with a complaint or grouchy comment, chances are you will be an ill mood throughout the day. Why in the fresh hell would you want to set up your day to be filled with grouchiness?
Try something different. Before you go to bed, choose a motivational video and save it. When you wake in the morning play this video as you’re getting ready. Do this every single day for 30 days or more. It doesn’t matter if you choose the same video and watch it repeatedly. Do it until your mind has shifted.
Instead of fussing at your children to get ready, tell them good morning. Let them hear the video too. BLAST IT! Don’t send them off to school with your grouchy residue dripping over them.
Start doing this today and you’ll see a change in the way you feel and think.
